Wilson Mesa, Philmont Scout Ranch - 618f1 2000 Philmont Scout Ranch, located in north eastern New Mexico, is owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America. Philmont covers about 137,493 acres of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains with elevations ranging from 6,500 ft to 12,441 ft, the top of Baldy Mountain.
